APPLE-PECAN PIE 
2 pie crusts
3/4 c. sugar
2 tsp. cinnamon
6 or 7 c. cored, sliced red Delicious apples
1 tsp. cornstarch
1/2 c. pecans
1 1/2 tbsp. butter
Topping

Mix sugar, cinnamon, and cornstarch together; add apples and pecans and mix carefully. Place in pie crust and dot with butter. Sprinkle on the topping and bake at 425 degrees for 50 to 60 minutes or until done. Serve with Cool Whip.

TOPPING:

1/2 c. butter
1/2 c. brown sugar, packed
1 c. self-rising flour
1/2 c. pecans, chopped

Combine butter, brown sugar and flour, mix well. Add pecans.
