CRANBERRY FRUIT COMPOTE 
1 (16 oz.) can pear halves in syrup
1 (16 oz.) can apricot halves in syrup
1 c. fresh or frozen cranberries
2 tbsp. brown sugar
1/4 tsp. nutmeg

Drain syrup from canned fruits into saucepan. Add cranberries, brown sugar and nutmeg. Cook over medium heat 5 minutes, until cranberries are soft. Cool. Stir in pear and apricot halves. Makes 6 to 8 servings.
