BUTTER HORNS 
1/4 lb. butter
1/4 lb. cream cheese, regular or whipped
3 tbsp. sugar
1 egg yolk
2 c. unsifted flour desired jelly or 1 c. sugar mixed with 1 tbsp. cinnamon
1 c. chopped nuts
1 egg white, slightly beaten

Mix first 4 ingredients together. Add flour. Mix well. (It will be easier if you use your hands.) Shape into ball and store in refrigerator overnight or freezer 1 1/2 hours. Remove and let stand at room temperature until soft 2 1/2 hours. Divide into quarters and roll each quarter like pie crust, thin. Spread with jelly or sugar-cinnamon and nuts. Cut each circle into 8 wedges. Roll, beginning at outer edge.

Brush with egg white and sprinkle with sugar-cinnamon. Place on lightly greased cookie sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for 15-20 minutes.
