1 c. butter
1 1/2 c. sugar
3 eggs
2 sq. of bitter chocolate melted
1 c. mashed potatoes
1 c. sweet milk
2 c. flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1/4 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. allspice
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. nuts

Cream butter and sugar. Add eggs, then potatoes. Alternate dry ingredients with milk. Add chocolate, nuts and flavoring. Put in greased and floured loaf pan. Bake in 350 degree oven until brown. This cake is moist and delicious.
