2 c. sugar
1/2 c. milk
1 stick butter
3 tbsp. cocoa
3 c. quick cooking oats
1/2 c. peanut butter
1 tbsp. vanilla
1/2 c. nuts or coconut

Mix sugar, milk, butter, cocoa in a 2 quart boiler. Place over medium heat. Let boil for 1 minute. Remove from heat and add the oats, peanut butter, nuts or coconut and vanilla. Drop by teaspoonful onto wax paper. Let cool.
