MOLDED STRAWBERRIES ROMANOFF 
1 pt. strawberries
2 tbsp. sugar
1 env. unflavored gelatin
2/3 c. sugar
2 1/2 c. boiling water
3 tbsp. orange juice
4 1/2 oz. container Cool Whip
3 oz. pkg. strawberry Jello

Reserve a few berries for garnish. Slice the rest and combine with 2 tbsp. sugar.

Combine unflavored gelatin and 2/3 cup sugar. Add 1 cup boiling water and stir until gelatin dissolves. Stir in orange juice. Chill until slightly thickened.

Fold in Cool Whip topping and pour into a 5-6 quart mold. Chill until set but not firm.

Dissolve strawberry Jello in 1 1/2 cups boiling water. Chill until slightly thickened. Fold in strawberries; spoon over mixture in mold. Chill until firm. Unmold. Garnish with reserved berries. Makes 8-10 servings.
