MIXED VEGETABLES PULAO 
4 c. basmati rice
8 oz. peas
8 oz. carrots
8 oz. French-cut beans
2 sm. pieces cinnamon sticks
4 cardimoms
4 cloves
2 bay leaves
1 tsp. cumin seed
1 c. oil
Salt to taste
8 c. water

Heat oil with cinnamon, cardimom, cloves, bay leaves and cumin seed. Add cut vegetables, peas and fry for 2-3 minutes. Add washed rice, salt and fry for a minute. Add water. Bring it to a boil. Cover the pot tightly and lower the heat. Cook until water is gone and rice and vegetables are tender.
