1/2 c. butter
1 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. white sugar
3 eggs
1 c. sour cream
2 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. cloves

Cream butter and sugar, add eggs, one at a time, and beat well. Dissolve soda in cream and add to mixture. Sift flour with spices and add. Bake in loaf pan in moderate oven at 325 degrees for one hour.
