STUFFED ARTICHOKES 
8 artichokes
1 lg. box Progresso Italian bread crumbs
1 can Parmesan-Romano cheese
1 lg. white onion, chopped fine
1 1/2 to 2 whole pods garlic, chopped fine
Olive oil (to oily consistency)
Parsley
1 can artichoke hearts, drained, chopped well

Mix all ingredients in large bowl. Clean cut thorns and tail off artichokes; drain. Stuff artichokes; wrap in aluminum foil with top exposed. Place in large pot with water in bottom of pot; cover and steam cook for 2 1/2 to 3 hours; you may need to add water while cooking. You can freeze artichokes in Saran Wrap and then heat in microwave.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
