ANISETTE COOKIES 
4 1/2 c. flour
3 lg. eggs
1/2 c. orange juice
1/2 c. oil
Chopped walnuts; optional
1 c. sugar
3 tsp. baking powder
1/2 c. milk
1 tsp. anise extract

Mix well in large bowl. Drop by teaspoon onto ungreased cookie sheets. If they spread too much add more flour. Bake at 400 degrees for 10 minutes until light brown (they burn fast).

Mix 1 pound confectioners sugar with warm water and 1 teaspoon anise extract until very thin. Dip tops of cooled cookies in icing. Lay on waxed or brown paper to dry.
