CHOCOLATE MERINGUE PIE | |
1 c. sugar 2 heaping tbsp. cocoa 3 egg yolks 2 tbsp. flour 2 c. undiluted evaporated milk Mix all ingredients and cook over medium heat until thickened, stirring frequently. Remove from heat. Add 2 tablespoons butter, 1 teaspoon vanilla. Pour into pie shell which has been already baked for only 5 minutes. Bake at 425 degrees for about 20 minutes, begins to look bubbly. Top with meringue made with the 3 egg whites. Brown, serve and enjoy. |
