VEGETABLE STEW | |
1 (10 oz.) bag mixed frozen vegetables 1 (16 oz.) can stewed tomatoes 1 to 2 grillers (optional) 1 (15 oz.) can tomato sauce 1 envelope Lipton Onion Soup Mix 2 to 4 c. water 1/2 c. raw barley or 1 c. cooked rice Combine all ingredients except grillers in slow cooker. Cook on high for 4 hors or low overnight. Add grillers to top of stew one hour before serving. Break grillers apart with fork just before serving. Servings: 8 to 10. |
