CHEESEBURGER PIE 
1 1/2 lbs. ground beef
1/3 c. chopped onion
1/3 c. fine dry bread crumbs
1 c. evaporated milk
1 slightly beaten egg
1 pkg. (1 1/2 oz.) stroganoff sauce mix
2 tbsp. catsup
1/4 tsp. paprika
9-inch unbaked pie shell
3 (3/4 oz.) slices American cheese

Preheat oven to 425 degrees. Brown ground beef and onion in medium skillet. Drain off fat. Stir in crumbs; combine evaporated milk, egg, stroganoff mix, catsup, add paprika. Add to meat mixture; mix thoroughly.

Spoon mixture into pie shell. Bake in hot oven 20-25 minutes. Cut cheese slices into triangles. Place on meat filling. Bake 2 minutes longer or until cheese is melted. Let stand about 10 minutes before serving.

May use cracker crumbs in place of bread crumbs.
