CHEESEBURGER TURNOVERS 
1/2 lb. ground beef
1 tbsp. finely chopped onion
1/2 tsp. salt
Dash pepper
8 oz. can refrigerated biscuits
5 slices American cheese, halved

Combine ground beef, onion, salt and pepper; saute until meat is lightly browned. Remove from heat. Place each biscuit on a lightly floured pastry board and roll into a 5 inch circle. Place about 3 tablespoons meat mixture in each of 5 biscuits. Top with 2 half slices of cheese. Moisten edges of biscuits with water; place another biscuit over meat and cheese mixture. Seal edges and prick top with fork. Place turnovers on a greased cookie sheet and bake at 425 degrees for 8 to 10 minutes.
