PASTRY HEARTS 
1 lb. softened butter
4 c. flour
Dash salt
1 lb. cottage cheese
1 tsp. vanilla

Mix first 3 ingredients; set aside. Puree cottage cheese in blender and add vanilla. Add to flour mixture and refrigerate for 1 hour. Roll 1/4 inch thick and cut in desired shapes. I used a heart cookie cutter.

Bake at 400 degrees for 8-10 minutes depending on size and thickness. Bake until lightly golden brown. Frost with desired glaze-type frosting.
