CHERRY COBBLER 
1 c. flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1 tbsp. butter (melted)
1 c. sugar
1/2 c. milk
1 can sour cherries

Combine flour, 1/2 cup sugar and baking powder. Mix well, blend milk and butter, stir into flour mixture until moistened. Pour batter into a 9 inch square baking pan. Combine cherries and juice, rest of the sugar, into saucepan; heat. Pour hot sweetened cherries over batter; bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.

Serves 9.
