CORN CHOWDER 
4 slices of bacon
1 onion
2 potatoes
1 can cream corn
2 c. milk
1 tsp. salt
Pepper

Fry bacon until crisp; drain. Crumble into small pieces. Reserve 3 tablespoons bacon fat and fry chopped onion in it. Add diced potatoes and 1 cup water. Cook until potatoes are tender. Add remaining ingredients and warm through. Serve topped with bacon bits. Serves 4.
