WEDDING COOKIES 
1/2 lb. butter
1/2 c. sugar
1 egg
1 tsp. vanilla
2 1/4 c. sifted flour

Cream butter and sugar. Add egg and vanilla. Mix in flour and chill. Roll out on lightly floured board. Cut in seasonal shapes or Wedding Bells. Bake on ungreased cookie sheet at 375 degrees until very light brown. Time will depend on thickness. Frost and decorate as desired.
