CHERRY DELIGHT 
1 qt. (pie) cherries
1 (#2) can crushed pineapple
1 1/2 c. sugar
1/3 c. tapioca
2 c. flour
1 c. oatmeal
1 c. Bran Flakes
1 c. brown sugar
1 tsp. baking soda
3/4 c. shortening

Mix cherries, pineapple, sugar and tapioca together and cook until slightly thickened. Mix together flour, oatmeal, Bran Flakes, brown sugar and soda. Cut shortening into dry mixture. Pack half of the dry mixture into a 13 x 9 inch pan. Pour in first mixture. Place rest of flour mixture on top. Bake for 30 minutes at 375 degrees. Serve warm with whipped cream or ice cream.
