HOT POTATO SALAD 
2 lbs. frozen has browns
2 c. sour cream
1 c. chopped onion
2 c. Special K's
1 c. grated Cheddar cheese
1 can cream of chicken soup
2/3 tsp. garlic salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
3/4 tsp. salt
1 1/2 sticks butter

Melt butter; divide in half. Mix potatoes, onions, cheese, and 1/2 of the butter. Put in 9 x 13 inch pan. Mix sour cream, soup, and spices together. Then mix with potatoes. Combine remaining butter with Special K's; sprinkle on top. Bake 1 1/2 hours at 350 degrees.
