MY FAVORITE BANANA NUT BREAD 
3/4 c. sugar
1/2 c. melted butter
2 slightly beaten eggs
2 tsp. vanilla
4 to 5 ripe, mashed bananas
3 c. flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
2 tsp. baking soda
1 c. chopped walnuts
1 c. plain yogurt

In large bowl, combine sugar, butter, eggs, vanilla, and mashed bananas. Beat well. Sift together flour, baking powder, salt, and soda. Add to banana mixture and blend well. Stir in nuts. Fold in yogurt. Grease and flour 2 (9 x 5 inch) loaf pans. Pour batter into pans. Bake at 325 degrees for 1 hour. Cool 15 minutes and remove from pans.
