FRESH BLUEBERRY CAKE 
1/2 c. butter
3/4 c. sugar
1/4 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking powder
1 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. vanilla
3/4 c. milk
2 eggs, separated
1/4 c. sugar
1 1/2 c. fresh blueberries
1 tbsp. flour
1 tbsp. sugar
1 tbsp. nutmeg

Cream butter and 3/4 cup sugar. Sift together salt, baking powder and flour. Add to creamed mixture. Mix in egg yolks, vanilla and milk. In a separate bowl, beat egg whites until soft, adding 1/4 cup sugar a little at a time. Beat until stiff.

In a separate bowl, coat blueberries with 1 tablespoon flour, and add to batter. Fold in beaten egg whites. Pour into greased and floured pie pans. Sprinkle batter with a tablespoon of sugar and nutmeg. Bake 50 minutes or until knife inserted in center comes out clean.
