STRAW AND HAY 
1/2 lb. green pasta
1/2 lb. plain pasta
1/2 c. sweet butter
1/2 c. chopped onion
2 c. sliced mushrooms
10 oz. pkg. frozen baby peas, thawed
2 c. diced cooked ham
1 1/2 c. heavy cream
1 c. freshly grated Parmesan cheese
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. freshly ground pepper

1. Cook pasta al dente. Drain. Set aside and keep warm.

2. Melt 1/4 cup butter; saute onion about 3 minutes, until soft. Add mushrooms; saute 3 minutes, until tender. Add peas and ham, saute 2 minutes. Remove from heat. Add pasta and toss well. Cover.
