12 soda crackers
12 dates, chopped
1 c. pecans, broken
1 c. sugar
2 or 3 egg whites
1/2 tsp. almond extract
1/4 tsp. baking powder

Roll crackers extra fine and mix with dry ingredients. Beat eggs until stiff. Add flavoring. Combine all and pour into greased pie pan. Bake 30 minutes at 325 degrees. Serve with whipped cream and cherry.
