HOT SPICED CIDER 
Apple cider (preferably the dark kind, not filtered, no preservatives)
Whole cinnamon sticks
Whole cloves
Orange slices
Lemon slices
A little wine, if desired

Warm cider in large pan. Add remaining ingredients to taste. Simmer for at least 1/2 hour. The longer it simmers, the better the flavor. Great on a cold fall or winter night. Ladle into mugs with a cinnamon stick as a stirrer.
