BUSTER BARS 
2 c. powdered sugar
1 1/2 c. evaporated milk
2/3 c. chocolate chips
1/2 c. butter
1 tsp. vanilla
1 lb. Oreo cookies or substitute
1/2 cup butter, melted
1 1/2 c. Spanish peanuts
1/2 gal. ice cream, softened

Mix powdered sugar, milk, chips, butter (1/2 cup) and vanilla, and boil for 8 minutes.

Crush cookies and mix with 1/2 cup melted butter. Spread in a 9 x 15 inch pan. Sprinkle nuts over this mixture and refrigerate.

When set, spread ice cream over the nuts. Cover with the chocolate mixture and freeze overnight. You may sprinkle more nuts on top.
