1 c. brown sugar
2 c. milk
2 egg yolks
1/3 c. flour
2 tbsp. butter
1 tsp. vanilla
1 (9-inch) pie shell

Mix sugar, milk, egg yolks, and flour and cook until thick. Add butter and vanilla. Put into baked pie shell.
