SALAD - DESSERT 
3 oz. pkg. strawberry gelatin
1/2 c. hot water
1 (#2) can crushed pineapple, drained
10 oz. carton frozen strawberry halves
Lg. banana, mashed
12 oz. carton sour cream

Strawberry halves must be partly thawed. Dissolve gelatin in hot water. Add pineapple, strawberries and banana. Divide mixture. Spread one portion on 10x6x1 3/4 inch baking dish and refrigerate. Leave other half at room temperature.

When mixture is firm, spoon sour cream over top. Then spoon other half of gelatin mixture over top. Place in refrigerator until firm. Cut in squares for a dessert or serve each on a lettuce leaf as a salad.
