STIRRED CUSTARD 
3 slightly beaten eggs
2 c. milk
1/4 c. sugar
Dash salt
1 tsp. vanilla

In heavy saucepan combine eggs, milk, sugar, and salt. Cook and stir over medium heat. Cook until mixture coats metal spoon.

Pour in bowl; set in larger bowl with ice. Stir in vanilla. Chill 12-15 minutes. Serves 6.
