SHEPHERD'S PIE | |
Ground sirloin steak Chopped onion Diced carrots Fresh chopped parsley Salt and pepper Peas or French beans Potatoes Cheese Tomatoes Stock bouillon cube Freshly chopped basil Fry ground steak or a little olive oil with seasoning and chopped basil. Add vegetables (carrots and peas, beans, onion) a little water, and bouillon cube. Cook until tender, 10-15 minutes. Boil potatoes well, in order to mash. Place meat and vegetables into an oven-proof glass dish, cover with mashed potatoes. Add a little butter and garlic salt. Grate cheese (any kind) and top over potatoes. Cover and bake at 400 degrees for 30 minutes. Garnish with wedges of tomato, fresh parsley. A delicious and nutritional meal for all. |
