SIX WEEK BRAN MUFFIN DOUGH | |
2 c. Nabisco All Bran 2 c. boiling water 4 eggs 2 c. white sugar 1/2 c. brown sugar 1 c. shortening 5 c. whole wheat flour 5 tsp. baking soda 1 qt. buttermilk 1 1/2 tsp. salt 4 c. Kellogg's All Bran 1 lb. raisins Mix first 2 ingredients together and set aside. Combine remaining ingredients EXCEPT Kellogg's All Bran and the raisins. Add the cooled bran mixture. Mix well. Stir in the Kellogg's All Bran and the raisins. Store in container (sealed such as Tupperware mixing bowl with cover). DO NOT MIX AGAIN. Anytime you are ready to make any muffins just spoon into muffin tins. Dough gest better as it ages so will keep for 5 or 6 weeks. Makes 96 muffins. |
