SPANISH SLAW 
1 head cabbage
1 lg. green pepper
3/4 c. oil
1 c. sugar
1 c. vinegar
1 tbsp. salt
1 tbsp. sugar
1 lg. onion

Mix sugar with cabbage, onion and pepper. Boil 1 cup vinegar, 3/4 cup oil, 1 tablespoon salt and 1 tablespoon sugar. Pour hot mixture over cabbage. Mix well. Chill and serve. Slaw will taste best if it sets overnight.
