MEXICAN TEA COOKIES | |
1 c. butter 1/2 c. powdered sugar 1 tsp. vanilla or black walnut flavoring 2 1/2 c. flour 1/4 tsp. salt 3/4 c. nuts, chopped fine Mix butter, sugar, and vanilla thoroughly. Measure flour by the dipping or sifting method. Stir flour and salt together. Blend in nuts. Chill dough. Heat oven to 400 degrees. Roll dough in 1 inch balls. Place on ungreased cookie sheets. (Cookies do not spread.) Bake 10 to 12 minutes at 400 degrees. While warm roll in powdered sugar. Cool and reroll in powdered sugar again. Makes 4 dozen. |
