FAVORITE CASSEROLE 
1 1/4 lb. ground round
1/4 lb. bacon, diced
1 lg. onion, chopped
3/4 c. diced celery
1/2 can cream corn
1 (#2) can tomatoes
3/4 c. shell macaroni
Salt & pepper to taste
Garlic salt (opt.)
1/4 lb. shredded cheddar cheese

Brown bacon, remove. Using a small amount of the bacon drippings brown the beef. Add onion and celery (can also add a little chopped green pepper) and cook slightly. Add corn and tomatoes and heat until bubbly, remove from heat and add 1/2 of the cheese. Stir well.

Add the uncooked shell macaroni and mix. Place in buttered casserole pan. Top with remaining cheese. Sprinkle generously with buttered bread crumbs. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 1/4 hours. Serves 5 or 6. This is a very good casserole.
