PUMPKIN BARS AND FROSTING | |
4 eggs 1 c. salad oil 2 c. sugar 1 (15 oz.) can pumpkin or 2 c. of your own homemade fresh pumpkin Mix above ingredients in a large bowl. Sift the following and add to the above: 2 c. flour 2 tsp. baking powder 1 tsp. baking soda 1/2 tsp. salt 2 tsp. cinnamon 1/2 tsp. ginger 1/2 tsp. cloves 1/2 tsp. nutmeg Mix well, then add 1 cup nuts and 1 cup raisins and mix well. Pour into greased and floured pan 12 x 18 x 1 inch pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 to 30 minutes. FROSTING: 1 (6 oz.) pkg. cream cheese 3/4 stick butter 1 tbsp. cream or milk 1 tsp. vanilla 4 c. powdered sugar (do not sift) |
