CHOCOLATE CHIP AND NUT CAKE 
3 eggs
2/3 c. shortening
1 c. milk
2 1/2 c. dark brown sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
2 3/4 c. flour
2 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 pkg. chocolate chips
1 c. chopped nuts

Cream eggs and shortening, add remaining ingredients. Bake at 325-350 degrees in a 9 x 13 inch pan.
