APPLE DUMPLING 
1 Granny Smith Apple, peeled and cut into 8 pieces)
1 can Crescent Rolls
1 c. Sugar
3/4 c. water (or 1/2 c. orange juice and 1/4 c. water)
1 stick butter
Cinnamon Sugar (optional)

Sprinkle apple slices with cinnamon sugar, if desired, and roll each slice in a crescent roll triangle, starting at large end. Place in baking dish. In a saucepan bring sugar, water and butter to a boil. Pour over crescent rolls.

Bake in 350°F oven for 25 minutes or until golden brown.

Recipe can be doubled.

For better flavor, use orange juice and water
