CHOCOLATE COVERED RAISINS
OATMEAL COOKIES
 
1 c. butter
1 c. sugar
1/2 c. brown sugar
1 egg, beaten
1 tsp. vanilla
1 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
1 heaping tsp. cinnamon
1 1/2 c. old fashioned uncooked reg. oats
1 heaping c. chopped pecans
1 c. chocolate covered raisins

Cream butter and sugars. Add egg, vanilla, and dry ingredients in order listed; mix well. Add pecans, then raisins. Chill 1 hour. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Form dough into walnut size balls. Place 2 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheet. Flatten each ball with bottom of small glass which has been buttered and dipped into sugar. Bake 10 to 12 minutes. Yield: 4 to 5 dozen.
