CHOCOLATE FRUIT CAKE 
1 1/3 c. chopped pitted dates
1 1/4 c. sliced candied cherries
1 c. raisins
1/2 c. chopped candied citron
1/2 c. chopped candied pineapple
1 c. chopped pecans
1/2 c. all purpose flour
1 pkg. Duncan Hines Deluxe Devils food cake mix
2/3 c. water
1/2 c. sherry wine
3 lg. eggs
1/2 c. oil

Preheat oven to 275 degrees. Grease and flour two 9 x 5 x 3 inch loaf pans. Combine fruit, nuts and flour in large bowl; toss until fruit is covered with flour.

Combine dry cake mix, water, sherry, eggs and oil in large bowl. Mix cake as directed on package. Stir in fruits and nuts. Turn batter into pans and spread evenly.

Bake at 275 degrees for 3 hours or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool in pans 20 minutes. Remove from pan; cool completely on racks.
