FRENCH APPLE NUT PIE 
3 to 4 c. sliced apples
3 tbsp. flour
3/4 c. brown sugar
1/4 c. white sugar
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
2 tbsp. water
1/4 c. butter
1/4 c. chopped nuts

Line a 9 inch pie pan with crust and fill with sliced apples. Mix together flour, sugars, salt and cinnamon. Spread mixture over top of apples. Sprinkle water over this. Dot with butter over all the top. Spread chopped nuts on top. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes or until apples are done.
