1 angel food cake
1 can cherry pie filling
1 sm. can crushed pineapple, undrained
3-4 sliced bananas
2 sliced fresh peaches, when in season or
1 sm. can sliced peaches, drained
1 lg. box vanilla instant pudding prepared or
1 recipe of boiled custard
1 med. size carton whipped topping or whipped cream
1/2-1 c. pecan pieces (mix some into mixture & sprinkle on top)

Either mix all ingredients together, then fold in bite-size pieces of angel food cake. OR Layer it using layer of cake and a layer of cherries, another layer of cake and a layer of pineapple, and so forth. Top with whipped topping or cream. Optional: Sprinkle a little sweet sherry over each layer of cake.
