CHOCOLATE CHIP OAT BARS 
1 1/2 c. brown sugar, packed
1 c. butter
2 tbsp. molasses
2 tsp. vanilla
2 eggs
3 c. oats
1 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
3/4 c. nuts, chopped
1 (12 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips

Beat brown sugar and butter until light and fluffy. Add molasses, vanilla and eggs. Blend well. Add oats, flour, soda and salt. Stir in nuts and chocolate chips. Spread in greased jelly roll pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 to 25 minutes or until light brown. Cool and cut into bars.
