AMBROSIA SALAD | |
2 slices bananas 3/4 c. diced oranges 1/2 c. seeded grapes 1/4 c. pitted dates 3 tbsp. lemon juice 1/4 c. flaked coconut Before dicing oranges, peel and remove white membrane and seeds. Wash grapes, cut in half, and remove seeds. Combine all ingredients, sprinkle with lemon juice and chill. Artificial sweetener may be added if desired. Serve on lettuce or in fruit cups or sauce dishes. Serves 6. Calories: 1 servings = 85 calories. Fat Controlled Diet: Prepare as directed, omitting coconut, 1 serving = negligible fat. Diabetic and calorie controlled diet: 1 serving = 2 fruit exchanges. Sodium controlled diet: negligible sodium. |
