BRAN MUFFINS 
1 c. flour
1/2 c. sugar
2 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 1/4 c. bran
1 c. milk
1 egg
1/4 c. vegetable oil

Blend flour, sugar, baking powder, soda and salt. Set aside. Stir together the bran and milk until moist. Let stand 5 minutes. Add egg and oil. Blend well and add to the flour mixture. Pour into muffin tin and bake at 400 degrees for 20 minutes. Makes 1 dozen.
