BEACH PLUM CATSUP 
5 lb. beach plums
3 lb. sugar
1/2 pt. vinegar
2 tbsp. ground cloves
2 tbsp. ground cinnamon
1 tbsp. allspice

Wash and clean fruit. Cover with scant amount of water. Bring to boil and boil until tender. Strain and add 3 pounds sugar, 1/2 pint vinegar, 2 tablespoons ground cloves, 2 tablespoons ground cinnamon, 1 tablespoon allspice. Boil all together until thick. Bottle and seal while hot.

Use as sweet and sour sauce with meats.
