FRUIT RIPPLE COOKIE CAKE 
2 c. flour
1/2 c. butter, softened
1/2 tsp. salt
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
1 1/2 c. sugar
4 eggs
1/2 c. cooking oil
1 can fruit pie filling, any flavor

Blend butter, oil and sugar together. Add eggs one at a time. Add vanilla; blend flour, salt and mix into egg and sugar mixture. Spread half the batter into greased 9 x 13 inch pan, top with pie filling. Dollop the remaining batter over the fruit. Bake at 350 degrees for 35-40 minutes. Serve warm or at room temperature.
