FETTUCCINE 
12 oz. fresh fettuccine
Boiling salted water
6 tbsp. butter
1 c. sliced green onions, including tops
2 cloves garlic, minced
1/2 pt. whipping cream
1 1/2 c. grated Parmesan cheese (not the canned stuff)
Salt & pepper to taste

Cook fettuccine in boiling water. While noodles are cooking, melt butter and add onions and garlic. Cook approximately 2 minutes. Add cream and boil rapidly for 2 minutes. Add noodles and toss gently. Add 1 cup cheese and salt and pepper; toss. Before serving add remaining 1/2 cup of cheese.
