CHOCOLATE TEA BREAD 
1 1/2 c. flour
1 1/3 c. sugar
1/3 c. cocoa powder
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. baking powder
1/3 c. soft butter or shortening
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. applesauce
1/3 c. water
1/2 c. chocolate chips
1/3 c. chopped nuts

Put all ingredients in large bowl; stir together. Beat 3 to 4 minutes or until well blended. Stir in 1/2 cup chocolate chips and 1/3 cup chopped nuts. Pour into greased and floured loaf pan, 9x5 or 2 small pans, 7 x 3 1/4. Bake 1 hour at 350 degrees large pan; 50 minutes for small pans or until bread tests done. Cool 5 minutes before turning out to cool.
