MOM'S BAR - B - QUE | |
3 lbs. ground beef 3 c. bottled catsup 2 sm. onions, diced 1 green pepper, chopped 1/2 c. brown sugar, packed 2 tbsp. dry mustard 1 tbsp. sugar 1 tbsp. salt 3 tbsp. vinegar In large saucepan, brown onions, green pepper and ground beef. Drain fat. Return to pan and add remaining ingredients, stirring well. Simmer for 30 minutes over low heat. Serve on hamburger buns. Makes about 18 sandwiches. If your family doesn't like green pepper, leave it out. |
