TEXAS TORNADO CAKE 
1 1/2 c. sugar
2 c. fruit cocktail with juice
1 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
1 c. chopped nuts
2 eggs
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 c. brown sugar
2 c. plain flour

Mix sugar and fruit cocktail in blender. Mix and cream together the sugar, eggs, fruit cocktail, soda, flour, cinnamon and nutmeg. Put in 1 (13 inch) pan. Mix brown sugar and nuts together. Sprinkle on top of batter. Bake at 325 degrees for 40 minutes.

SAUCE:

1 stick butter
1 c. brown sugar
1 c. coconut
1/2 c. evaporated milk

Mix all ingredients in saucepan. Bring to a boil. Pour over hot cake.
